And in Battlefront 2, we got 11 game modes total. In Battlefront 1, we got 13 game modes total. But what really sets these two apart is the class system.įor this category, I will be comparing all game modes at the end of each game, because it’s only fair to do so. Because for me Battlefront 2 reminds me of a Star Wars take on Battlefield. This can be a good thing and a bad thing. While I don’t think it captured the Star Wars experience as well as bf1 did, I think that it feels more like a shooter. But Battlefront 2 is a whole other beast.
I go over it better in this blog, but I’d say that the gunplay of Battlefront 1 reminds me of playing with action figures when I was in elementary school. I pretty much like the gameplay of bf1 because it feels a little more childish. I understand that it’s not the most realistic, but I’m ok with that for the most part. Now despite what everyone says, I actually like the gunplay of Battlefront 1. This is a hard one to judge, because here things get extremely subjective. But this one clearly must go to Battlefront 2. Overall, both offline experiences definitely leave something to be desired. But other than that, there is little to enjoy. I’ll admit there could’ve been much more of it, but I’ve actually enjoyed the offline version of walker assault that it has. Now I actually like the offline stuff that Bf1 had to offer. It’s basically the ground phase of CS only, which is all online players have been asking for since day one. Instant action is everything that an offline player could wish for.
